I can’t thank you all enough for your auditions. I truly appreciate your interest, your interest, time and talent given to us during the audition process - which is never easy and truly one of the hardest parts of my role.
Just to give everyone a bit of context: Four days before auditions our director slated for Earnest had to cancel and I took on her position. However, as I was previously committed to other rehearsal during the auditions and with little notice, we decided to continue with auditions. I would like to thank Alex and the TWP board for acting as my Earnest casting directors. I understand the difficult position this put them in.
As stated above, this is a tentative and incomplete cast list. With very few men at auditions -- and the importance of casting respective ages and relationships as closely as possible to the story telling -- we will continue to audition men, and continue placing women in relationship to the new men. This means, if you are an actress who auditioned and your name is not on the list yet, it may be in the future. Please check back soon.
If your name is on the company list below, please email me at decker@trainwreckproductions.org to accept your role. Rehearsals will begin in July with a table read preceding. Performances are July 27 & 28 at 7:00 PM and July 28 & 29 at 2:00 PM.
